Job Summary

This Post-Doctoral Researcher position at the University of Potsdam focuses on contributing to high-level empirical economic research, particularly in labor market economics and policy evaluation. The role involves active participation in research projects, notably the evaluation of the 'Startchancen' program for the BMBF, alongside conducting independent research aimed at publication in leading journals. Key responsibilities include presenting scientific findings at international conferences and providing autonomous instruction and student supervision (seminar/thesis guidance) in both German and English. Candidates must possess a completed PhD in Economics or a related field, strong methodological skills in statistics and econometrics, and fluency in both German and English. This position offers excellent research conditions, integration into regional research networks like the Berlin School of Economics (BSoE), and the possibility for further academic qualification (Habilitation).
