Job Summary

This role is for an IT Systems Support Engineer based in Brühl, focusing on long-term infrastructure projects within a leading IT service provider supporting major German companies and public clients in digital transformation. The core responsibilities involve actively participating in the planning, implementation, and ongoing development of complex customer network environments. Day-to-day tasks include providing comprehensive 1st and 2nd Level Support, managing tickets using systems like SNOW, and executing system imaging and deployment for Windows 10/11 environments. A significant technical focus is placed on setting up hardware (notebooks, monitors, peripherals) and diagnosing and configuring network elements such as VLANs, ports, and IP structures. Candidates must possess strong professional experience in IT support and network infrastructure, coupled with the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues effectively. Success in this service-oriented, team-based environment requires excellent written and spoken German (Fluent/C2).
