Job Summary

This strategic role requires an experienced Enterprise Architect to join the central Group IT at ZEISS, focusing on evolving and governing the Enterprise Architecture, particularly within the critical ERP domain (covering value streams like Engineer-to-Order, Lead-to-Cash, Inbound-to-Outbound, Record-to-Report, Idea-to-Market, and Plan-to-Produce). Day-to-day activities include developing a comprehensive vision for the target architecture, acting as a trusted advisor, leading architecture workshops with IT and business stakeholders, and driving the identification and assessment of new technologies. The architect will also assume a governance role in architecture decisions across the company. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in (Business) Informatics, extensive professional experience in an Enterprise environment, and deep knowledge of the SAP product portfolio and EAM methodologies. This position is attractive as it offers the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of ZEISS's application landscape and operate in a key governance role across the group, requiring fluency in both German and English.
