Job Summary
This critical role involves the mapping and continuous development of sales processes across all business units within the Carl Zeiss Group's SAP ERP systems. A major focus will be guiding the transformation of the current SAP ERP landscape to SAP S/4HANA using a Greenfield approach. The consultant manages the entire solution lifecycle, from initial concept and implementation through to user training and ongoing support. Day-to-day tasks include acting as the technical bridge between IT and business departments, advising international SAP Key Users, and steering external IT partners. You will also take on subject-matter responsibility within global M&A and SAP rollout projects, applying both agile and traditional project management methodologies. Key qualifications include a relevant technical degree, several years of experience in SAP sales processing within the manufacturing sector, and deep expertise in SAP SD and S/4HANA environments.

Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience executing IT projects in SAP sales processing within the manufacturing industry
- Deep understanding of sales processes in SAP SD (ECC and S/4HANA)
- Experience in mapping complex products using SAP (advanced) Variant Configuration
