Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of highly advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment within a cleanroom environment at GlobalFoundries in Dresden. The core mission involves analyzing and resolving complex malfunctions across high-tech systems, performing scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize asset availability, and meticulously documenting all repair and status updates digitally. You will also be expected to support and mentor colleagues facing recurring technical challenges. Ideal candidates must possess completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification (such as a certified Technician or Master Craftsman). A strong enthusiasm for complex machinery and the willingness to work the required 3-shift system (2 early, 2 late, 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off) are essential for success in this critical position, contributing directly to the future of microelectronics.
