Job Summary

This crucial role, designated as the MPW Material Flow Manager, focuses on ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of Multi-Project Wafer (MPW) prototype deliveries to GlobalFoundries' customers. The successful candidate acts as the main customer contact point, managing the complex logistics for potentially up to 40 customers per MPW run, while balancing customer demands with commercial interests. Day-to-day tasks involve taking responsibility for material shipments, engaging in wafer start planning, monitoring prototype lot progress, and proactively addressing potential delays through countermeasures. The role requires highly developed organizational and scheduling skills, strong communication abilities in both English and German, and a Master’s degree in engineering. This position offers a high-complexity, high-diversity challenge within the semiconductor manufacturing environment, enabling successful customer relationships through effective material flow orchestration.
