Job Summary

The State Capital Stuttgart is seeking an IT Engineer specializing in Problem Management to join the Office for Digitalization, Organization, and IT (DO.IT.). This permanent role focuses on Software Engineering and technical application platforms, supporting the city's digitalization initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the stability of technical systems by localizing the root causes of technical faults and reliably fixing errors in existing applications, particularly within data and Low-Code platforms. Key responsibilities include managing the life-cycle of software solutions, modernizing existing applications, conducting systematic inventory and requirements analyses, and providing competent technical support and consultation to users. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with experience in relational databases and complex, networked systems. Fluency in German is mandatory for communication within the municipal structure.
