Job Summary

The City of Stuttgart is seeking an experienced SAP Basis IT Architect to join its SAP Competence Center. This permanent role is crucial for defining and generating the future SAP architecture, ensuring alignment with the overall IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and project portfolio. A core responsibility involves leading the S/4HANA transformation and integrating modern UI/Mobility technologies. Day-to-day tasks include actively participating in S/4HANA implementation projects, overseeing technical architectures, IT integration, and maintaining stringent IT security standards. The architect will also be responsible for creating and updating the SAP development plan, assessing the feasibility of new solutions, identifying system landscape synergies, and providing expert consultation to IT stakeholders during requirements gathering. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics and demonstrate fluent German language skills (C1 minimum) alongside deep knowledge of SAP architecture and S/4HANA transformation.
