Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Process Engineer looking to manage and realize small to medium-sized projects within a highly regulated pharmaceutical GMP environment in Basel. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling technical planning, such as independently maintaining and updating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using COMOS, and creating detailed technical specifications and data sheets. You will be crucial in project realization, coordinating various trades—including piping, electrical, instrumentation, and construction—and providing on-site supervision to ensure quality and safety compliance. A key focus is maintaining GMP compliance through effective Change Control management, defining necessary organizational and technical measures, and preparing verification documentation (IQ/OQ test plans and protocols). To succeed, candidates must possess a relevant technical degree and at least five years of experience in GMP settings. Crucially, very strong German language skills are mandatory for documentation and internal communication, making this role best suited for expats already fluent in German.
