Technical Operations Manager / Facility Operations Engineer | Ingenieur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves taking operational responsibility for technical systems, primarily electrical installations, within the Facility Management division supporting German security authorities in Berlin-Mitte. The Operations Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of technical infrastructure, including developing and implementing maintenance schedules, drafting and concluding service contracts, and ensuring continuous, disruption-free operations using internal personnel. A key component of the job is the technical leadership and steering of an operational team, alongside developing quality standards and processes for maintenance and repair. Furthermore, the manager will hold project responsibility for construction measures, involving planning, preparing tenders for engineering firms and contractors, and overseeing implementation in coordination with building administrations. Candidates must possess a technical university degree in Electrical Engineering and several years of experience in commissioning and operating electrical systems, coupled with deep knowledge of relevant German technical regulations.
