Job Summary

This role is a vital part of the Grid Calculation team, focusing on high-voltage grid calculations essential for the ongoing energy transition in Schleswig-Holstein. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical assessment of various connection projects, including both feed-in and consumption, using these assessments to derive necessary optimizations and construction measures for the high-voltage network. Day-to-day tasks involve applying specialized calculation programs, such as PSS SINCAL and Integral, to perform complex analyses including load flow, short circuit assessments, grid compatibility studies, minimization of network losses, and neutral point treatment. You will also contribute to the continuous development of calculation methodologies and the IT tools utilized by the team. Candidates must possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering, coupled with fundamental electrical engineering knowledge and initial professional experience in power grid planning. This position offers a meaningful contribution to the energy transition within a large, stable energy services provider.
