Job Summary

This role is centered on leading the commissioning of major construction projects involving critical energy infrastructure, specifically substations and switching stations. The Electrical Systems Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper execution of all operational activities related to the new construction, modification, and expansion of these high-stakes electrical systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing installation activities on medium and high-voltage equipment (up to 110kV), acting as the designated system and work supervisor on site, and overseeing external partner firms to ensure compliance and safety. Candidates must hold a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering and demonstrate prior knowledge of energy supply infrastructure.
