Job Summary

This role as an AI Systems Administrator at the Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG) in Koblenz is crucial for building the technical foundation for innovative Artificial Intelligence applications. The administrator will be responsible for providing and maintaining the necessary IT infrastructure to support the development, operation, and secure deployment of AI solutions. Working within a dedicated team, you will design a high-performance, secure platform environment that facilitates cutting-edge research, including collaboration with external partners like the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) on projects related to data quality assurance, object recognition, and model optimization. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, coupled with deep knowledge of Linux systems administration and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Required Skills

Education

  • Professional interest in integrating modern AI tools and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow)
