Job Summary

This role involves joining the TRATON Group R&D transformation to design high-voltage system architecture and components for electric trucks and buses. As a Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design of mechatronic and electrical components within the traction battery, moving from initial concept through to series production. A core aspect of the job is ensuring systemic compliance, particularly concerning Functional Safety (ISO 26262), Cyber Security, and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). You will collaborate actively within multinational project teams across various TRATON brands and manage relationships with external suppliers. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering and possesses several years of professional experience in HV battery development or power electronics.
