Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Development Engineer specialized in Electrical/Electronic (E/E) Concept Design to join the transforming TRATON R&D organization in Munich. The primary focus is developing concepts for critical electrical components, such as control units, headlights, and operating elements, ensuring their seamless integration by coordinating closely with Chassis and Cabin development teams. The engineer will manage internal and external staff responsible for detailed concept construction, ensuring high data quality and successful component integration through installation tests. Key qualifications include foundational knowledge in CAD construction, ideally using CATIA V5-6, and basic understanding of electrical engineering principles. The successful candidate must be a proactive team player capable of explaining complex relationships and delegating tasks effectively, contributing directly to the future roadmap and innovation across major truck and bus brands like Scania, MAN, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus.
