Job Summary

This critical role supports the digital future of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) by ensuring the security of complex IT services, operating as a primary digitalization partner. The Senior Expert will join the ERP Technical Solutions team, focusing on increasing the security posture of SAP system landscapes and complementary products. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed security analyses of SAP systems, advising internal staff on data protection, information security, and BSI IT baseline protection standards, and performing security assessments for new software products. You will also be tasked with analyzing and optimizing role and authorization systems, contributing security expertise to major projects, and preparing for internal and external audits. Success requires a university degree in Informatics or a related field, combined with at least four years of relevant professional experience, deep knowledge of SAP operations, IT Service Management (ITIL), and mandatory fluent German language skills.
