Job Summary

This role involves crucial project support for the National High-Performance Computing (NHR) Center at TU Dresden, focusing specifically on the allocation of computing resources. Day-to-day responsibilities include the coordination and processing of computing time applications, designing and managing the expert review process, and providing technical advice to researchers submitting proposals. The specialist will also handle conceptual and technical tasks related to developing and maintaining reporting and accounting systems for resource usage. Furthermore, the role involves coordinating continuing education offerings for HPC users and representing the NHR center at conferences. Key requirements include a university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Computer Science, several years of relevant professional experience, proficiency in Python, Linux, and databases, and C1 fluency in both German and English.
