Job Summary

This fixed-term, part-time position seeks a highly motivated Doctoral Researcher to join the Institute of Cellular Virology, focusing on Molecular Virology and Cell Biology. The successful candidate will conduct cutting-edge research investigating host-pathogen interactions, specifically analyzing how small DNA tumor viruses infect cells and how the cellular niche affects infection outcomes. This involves utilizing advanced cellular and molecular techniques, including super-resolution microscopy, systems biology approaches, and advanced imaging in complex models like organoids. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Experience with superresolution microscopy and computational image analysis (asset)
  • Experience working with complex cell cultures, such as organoids (asset)
