Job Summary

This role is for a Specialist Engineer focusing on Primary Technology, dedicated to ensuring the functional readiness and innovative deployment of critical grid components, actively supporting the energy transition led by 50Hertz. The core responsibilities involve acting as a Project Manager for the maintenance and fault clearance of primary technical components, particularly within substations across the Northeast regional center's grid area in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Daily tasks include comprehensive project planning, execution, cost optimization, and functional testing. The engineer is also responsible for implementing new maintenance concepts, evaluating completed construction and maintenance projects, and providing practical training to the team. This position is highly attractive as it contributes significantly to the electricity supply for over 18 million people and plays a key role in advancing the energy transition. Success requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally several years of experience in grid system maintenance, and proficiency in specialized tools like SAP PM/MM.
