Job Summary

This role involves operating, maintaining, and expanding digital infrastructure, primarily focusing on the new TETRA / BOS TETRA digital radio systems across the entire SSB network. The System Administrator ensures compliance with maintenance intervals, plans and implements system renewals and expansions, and provides technical expertise, including construction supervision during maintenance and expansion projects. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Information or Communication Electronics Technician, supplemented by further training as a certified Electrical Engineer specializing in Telecommunications or Information Technology, along with professional experience in radio and network technology. After comprehensive training, the role requires participation in an on-call duty rotation.
