Job Summary

The Stuttgart public transport company (SSB) is seeking an Electronics Technician for Machinery and Drive Technology to join their Rail Vehicle division. This crucial role involves the conscientious maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of traction motors, including comprehensive input and output testing. Day-to-day responsibilities also include the re-bearing of three-phase asynchronous motors and the refurbishment of fan and small motors. Furthermore, the technician will be instrumental in repairing and resolving faults in driver and passenger air conditioning systems, DC choppers, converters, power modules, and three-phase on-board network inverters. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification in Electronics for Machinery and Drive Technology or Mechatronics, coupled with knowledge of PC usage and SAP applications. This position requires reliability, resilience, teamwork, and a self-motivated, dedicated work ethic, ensuring the smooth and sustainable operation of Stuttgart's public transport system.
