Job Summary

Join Stuttgart's public transport provider (SSB) as a Planner and Construction Manager, focusing on low voltage systems within the Electrical Systems department. Your daily responsibilities will involve creating preliminary and detailed execution plans for power supply and lighting systems across both above-ground and underground light rail stops. Key tasks include developing specifications, managing tenders, performing technical calculations, and estimating planning costs. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet strict deadlines, budgets, and quality standards, including taking on-site construction management responsibilities. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and possesses theoretical and practical knowledge in planning and project management for 50 Hz electrical systems (400V and 10kV). Proficiency in MS Office, calculation software (like iTWO), and CAD programs (MicroStation, ECSCAD, or AutoCAD) is essential. This role offers an unlimited contract, flexible working hours, mobile work options, and the benefit of a free Germany ticket.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification. Ideally, additional completed training/apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Theoretical and practical knowledge in planning and project management of 50 Hz electrical systems (400V and 10kV)
  • Professional experience in cost calculation and on-site construction management
  • Reliability demonstrated through participation in on-call duty
