Job Summary
Join a dedicated and forward-thinking team driving digital transformation at Insel Gruppe, a pioneer in digital medicine utilizing the modern, integrated Epic Clinical Information System. In this role, you will actively contribute to the development and optimization of the system, with a specific focus on outpatient appointment scheduling. You will serve as a crucial interface between clinical departments and IT specialists, leveraging your strong communication skills to capture requirements and implement effective IT solutions. Working within an interdisciplinary team, you will secure the high standard of IT solutions by developing concepts, specifications, and training documentation. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing system behavior, performing necessary adjustments, resolving customer incident reports, and ensuring the hospital's operational uptime. This position requires a background in medicine or IT/Business Informatics and strong proficiency in both German and English.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree or professional qualification in a medical field (e.g., Nursing, Patient Administration) or in Medical Informatics, Business Administration, or Business Informatics.
Experience
- Professional experience in outpatient scheduling (ideally)
- Fundamental understanding of complex hospital processes and daily routines
- Experience acting as a liaison between clinical departments and IT areas
- Professional experience in system analysis and incident resolution
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to acquire Epic Cadence Certification if not already held. Strong service orientation, implementation skills, and ability to work diplomatically in an interdisciplinary setting.
