Job Summary

This critical role involves serving as the Regional Center Duty Officer at the local control center (Technical Monitoring Station), overseeing and controlling extra-high voltage assets within the East Regional Center's network area (South Brandenburg and Saxony). The primary responsibility is ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the transmission network by coordinating planned work, executing or authorizing switching operations in close collaboration with the central control center and distribution network operators. Day-to-day tasks include documenting operational events, managing fault clearances, initiating immediate corrective measures during disturbances, and maintaining up-to-date operational documentation. This position requires a completed technician or master qualification in Electrical Engineering, excellent German proficiency (C1), and willingness to participate in early, late, and on-call shifts. The successful candidate will assume delegated operator responsibility for critical network assets, making this a highly responsible and challenging position in grid management.
