Job Summary

This role is critical for modernizing Germany's power grid, focusing on installing and maintaining advanced metering technology in major customer facilities, including energy storage, wind, and photovoltaic plants. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for commissioning new metering points, troubleshooting faults across the entire 50Hertz grid area, and conducting component pre-testing and configuration in the metering lab. A key part of the job involves regular, multi-day business trips with overnight stays throughout the network area. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, possess a high degree of self-reliance and practical orientation, and be willing to work at heights (e.g., wind turbines).
