Job Summary

This Research Associate role focuses on the digital transformation of battery cell manufacturing within the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. The successful candidate will be integral to the "Digitalization of Battery Cell Manufacturing" division, working on the conceptualization, development, and implementation of data-driven applications across the battery value chain. Day-to-day tasks involve systematically preparing data from heterogeneous sources, developing scalable data preprocessing pipelines, and designing and maintaining data ontologies for semantic modeling and improved data exchange. A key responsibility is identifying potentials for data-driven use cases, developing innovative solutions for process improvement, and analyzing methods for simulation and intelligent coupling of simulation models for decision support.
