Job Summary

This role involves coordinating media equipment and IT infrastructure across all municipal schools in Mönchengladbach. Key responsibilities include planning, implementation, and administration of IT measures, managing hardware and software procurement, and creating specifications for tenders. The officer will also coordinate Second-Level IT Support, ensuring quality assurance and systematic process documentation. Furthermore, the position requires managing media inventory, handling warranty and damage claims, and overseeing license and budget administration related to media resources. Candidates must possess a degree in Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, coupled with relevant professional experience and strong technical knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office, and ticketing systems. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or comparable qualification in Electrical Engineering or Informatics, or qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service (Laufbahngruppe 2, 1. Einstiegsamt)

Experience

  • At least two years of job-related professional experience (required for non-civil service applicants with technical degrees)
  • Experience in IT procurement and public tendering procedures (preferred)
  • Experience in handling ticketing systems and basic understanding of asset and license management (preferred)
