Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position requires a dedicated specialist to organize and monitor comprehensive safety protocols, including occupational safety, fire protection, and radiation protection, within the Physics Department at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Day-to-day activities involve creating and updating risk assessments, conducting regular workplace inspections, and providing essential training and consultation to staff regarding health and safety standards. The specialist will also manage the implementation of safety measures and collaborate closely with the central university safety office. Candidates must possess a completed university degree, preferably in Physics, coupled with proven experience in operational safety management, particularly within an academic setting. Strong command of German and solid English skills are mandatory, along with the willingness to obtain necessary radiation protection expertise. This role offers a challenging, varied environment with flexible working hours at an international institution.
