Job Summary

This full-time Science Management role at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) focuses on supporting and advising researchers in securing large-scale funding, primarily through national research programs like DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centers and federally/state-funded infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in conceptually developing consulting services for external funding acquisition and strengthening TUM's funding strategy within the framework of the TUM Agenda 2030. Day-to-day tasks involve intense collaboration with university leadership, managing strategically important research areas (e.g., biotechnology, sustainability), and representing TUM at national and international events. The position requires a high degree of organizational talent, strong communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the national research funding landscape, offering a challenging opportunity to acquire expertise in national research cooperation.
