Production Manager, Biotechnology and Fermentation | Biotechnologe (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This leadership role involves shaping sustainable biotechnology by managing, steering, and optimizing complex biological production processes across two production lines utilizing bioreactors ranging from 50 L up to 7,400 L. The successful candidate will lead and develop a team of up to 15 employees, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards including ISO 9001, GMP+, and Lean Management principles. Key responsibilities include rigorous budget, cost, and deadline control, alongside regular reporting to management and acting as the primary interface between R&D, Quality Assurance, and Engineering. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Engineering degree in Biotechnology or Process Engineering, possesses proven leadership experience in a biotech production environment, and has solid expertise in fermentation, separation, and drying techniques. This position offers significant creative autonomy within a growing, international company dedicated to providing biological alternatives to chemical-synthetic products.
