Job Summary

This role is ideal for a seasoned leader ready to shape the future of sustainable biological production processes within an innovative, international biotech company. The Production Manager will be responsible for the planning, control, and optimization of complex production processes across two lines, utilizing bioreactors ranging from 50 L to 7,400 L. A core responsibility involves the technical and disciplinary leadership and development of a team of up to 15 employees. Key tasks include ensuring and advancing quality standards (ISO 9001, GMP+, Lean Management), managing budgets, costs, and timelines, and providing regular production controlling and reporting to management. The successful candidate must possess a Master's or Engineering degree in Biotechnology or Process Engineering, coupled with proven leadership experience in a biotechnological production environment, and excellent German and English skills.
