Job Summary
This permanent, part-time (25 hours/week) role as a System Support and Digitalization Officer for the City of Neumünster's Finance Department focuses heavily on the technical administration and advancement of municipal accounting systems. The core tasks involve system development, including the continuous improvement and implementation of modules within the H&H pro Doppik financial software (covering HKR, Asset Management, and KLR), managing system interfaces, and ensuring robust error management and user access control. A significant responsibility is driving the digitalization of accounting processes, such as implementing web-based software (pd\web) and supporting initiatives like E-Invoicing and E-Payment. Candidates must possess a strong technical understanding of IT systems and either a relevant degree in Business Administration or a qualification in public service administration. Knowledge of public finance law and data protection regulations (DSGVO) is essential.
Required Skills
Education
Qualification for Career Group 2, 1st Entry Level (General Services) or comparable; OR comparable employee with Employee Exam II; OR completed degree in Business Administration (BWL) or comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in municipal accounting (desired)
- Experience in project management, ideally in digitalization (desired)
- Professional experience in the configuration and management of the H&H financial system (required or willingness to acquire quickly)
