Job Summary

This crucial and permanent role as Department Head of Holding Management involves leading the strategic control and oversight of the city’s corporate participations. You will manage a four-person team, acting as the primary liaison between the administration, political bodies, and external partners. Daily tasks include providing expert legal and business advice to municipal company management, representing the city in supervisory boards, and analyzing complex financial documents like annual reports and business plans to assess risks and opportunities. A core responsibility is ensuring transparent financial and participation controlling, developing risk management instruments, and maintaining strict compliance with corporate, commercial, and municipal economic law.
