Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position involves managing road maintenance construction projects from inception to completion within the Civil Engineering Department of the City of Witten. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing construction measures, including damage assessment, prioritization, tendering, and final invoicing. A key part of the role is acting as the client representative (Bauherr) for projects overseen by external engineering firms, ensuring cost and deadline control are maintained. You will also manage supporting contracts (e.g., expert witnesses, safety coordinators) and coordinate extensively with residents, businesses, and external utility providers. This role requires a degree in Civil Engineering, expertise in construction contract law (VOB/HOAI), and strong coordination skills to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder communication.
