This role is a critical addition to the development team at the Max Planck Society Semiconductor Laboratory (MPG HLL), focusing on advancing technology for radiation sensor manufacturing and integrating new processes for Quantum Computing (qBits) and Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs). The Development Engineer will be instrumental in the installation, qualification, and maintenance of advanced cleanroom equipment, including PVD, plasma, lithography, and wafer bonding processes. Key responsibilities involve systematic process control, troubleshooting complex chemical and physical processes, and collaborating on the technological implementation of novel sensor and circuit designs. Candidates should possess a degree in Micro and Nanotechnology or a related field, coupled with professional experience in semiconductor processing, though motivated graduates are also encouraged to apply.
