Job Summary

This full-time, permanent role in Münster involves serving as the primary specialist for financial management, controlling, and project oversight at the Münster Theatre, a dynamic five-division cultural institution. The successful candidate will work closely with the Administrative Director, ensuring smooth organizational operations and financial stability. Key responsibilities include preparing and monitoring the annual business plan, developing mid-term financial forecasts, and enhancing reporting systems as a critical controlling instrument. You will utilize strong analytical skills to provide independent financial recommendations to the theatre management and contribute to the preparation of the annual financial statements, including the appendix and management report. The position requires proven expertise in public administration finance, project management competencies, and comprehensive IT skills, particularly in Excel and ideally SAP, to support cross-departmental project leadership and administrative tasks.

Required Skills

Education

Eligibility for the general administrative service, career group 2, first entry level; OR completion of Administrative Course II; OR a relevant university degree, preferably with focus on municipal financial management, public enterprise administration, or project management.

Experience

  • Minimum two years of professional experience, preferably acquired in public administration or a public enterprise
  • Professional experience in financial management and controlling
  • Experience with public sector enterprise structures (eigenbetriebsähnliche Einrichtung)
