Job Summary
This full-time, permanent role involves supporting the Energy Transition, Wind Energy, and Climate Protection Staff Unit (StEWK) in the Stuttgart Regional Council, focusing heavily on processes related to wind power and aviation/air safety. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate internal processes and official statements regarding wind power, acting as a key liaison for approval authorities, project sponsors, and local government bodies concerning StEWK topics. This position requires a Master's degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences, strong project management skills, and a high degree of reliability and initiative. Experience in environmental administration and stakeholder management, particularly concerning renewable energy expansion, is highly beneficial. This is an opportunity to creatively shape modern public administration and drive critical climate protection initiatives in Baden-Württemberg.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree (University Diploma/Master) in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical/Process Engineering, Civil or Environmental Engineering) or Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Physics). Master's from a Dual or Applied Sciences University must be accredited for higher civil service access.
Experience
- Professional experience in internal process steering and coordination
- Professional experience supporting approval authorities in regulatory procedures
- Multiple years of professional experience in environmental administration (Advantageous)
- Experience with stakeholder processes and event management (Advantageous)
- Experience implementing renewable energy expansion projects (Advantageous)
- Professional experience with diverse administrative and planning levels
