Job Summary

Join a dedicated team in Hannover, Germany, as a Laboratory Technician specializing in Chromatography, contributing directly to environmental and health protection. This role is initially a fixed-term contract for two years, offering flexible working hours (20-40 hours/week). Day-to-day responsibilities include the precise determination of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in water samples using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and supporting various Gas Chromatography (GC) procedures. You will meticulously document, evaluate, and input analytical results into the Laboratory Information System (LIMS). A key focus is maintaining quality standards by calibrating, validating, and reviewing analytical methods, as well as performing routine maintenance on laboratory devices. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, CTA, or a relevant Chemistry degree, possesses experience in chromatography, and demonstrates a reliable, independent, and communicative working style, coupled with B2 level German proficiency.

Required degrees include Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), or a university degree (e.g., Chemistry) with corresponding knowledge.
