Job Summary

This Production Specialist role, based in the Clinical Supply Center in Penzberg, involves the large-scale manufacturing of therapeutically active proteins, crucial for clinical trials globally. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing production processes according to GMP guidelines, meticulous documentation, data analysis of manufacturing processes, and independent optimization of workflows. The specialist will also handle in-process controls, manage materials of various origins, and maintain process and lab equipment. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training in chemistry or biology (e.g., Chemical Technician, Biological Laboratory Assistant) or equivalent, coupled with several years of professional experience in liquid chromatography and tangential flow filtration, specifically focusing on protein purification. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of chemistry/biochemistry, experience with computerized chromatography systems (e.g., Äkta), and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, quality-focused environment.
