Job Summary

This role, based in Berlin at TIB Molbiol (a Roche subsidiary), is crucial for the continued development and maintenance of PCR-based diagnostic kits. The Product Developer will operate in a dynamic lab and office environment, focusing on identifying weaknesses in existing products and developing robust solutions. Key responsibilities include designing and testing primer and sample designs to enhance kit performance, initiating and managing product changes, and ensuring thorough documentation and risk management. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology or Biochemistry) or equivalent professional training, coupled with multi-year experience in PCR and PCR design. Proficiency in ISO 13485 and strong communication skills in both German and English (minimum B2 level) are mandatory for success in this innovative and collaborative team setting.
