Job Summary

This role, based at TIB Molbiol (a Roche subsidiary) in Berlin, focuses on the continuous development and maintenance of PCR-based diagnostic kits. The Product Developer acts as a key person in product care, identifying weaknesses in existing products and developing robust solutions, particularly focusing on optimizing primer and probe designs through development and testing. Day-to-day tasks involve a dynamic mix of laboratory and office work, including initiating, planning, and managing product changes, ensuring seamless implementation and thorough documentation. The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners, contributing significantly to documentation, risk management, and supporting Post-Market Surveillance activities. The ideal candidate possesses a natural science degree or equivalent training with substantial professional experience, must be proficient in PCR techniques and ISO 13485, and capable of working proactively and solution-oriented in a diverse, innovative environment.
