Job Summary

This role involves specialized testing and approval of sealants, primarily focusing on aircraft sealing compounds within the global surface technology unit of a major chemical company. The Materials Tester will be responsible for planning and executing diverse tests on aircraft sealants, generating detailed test reports, and providing technical support to the Research and Development department. Key tasks include optimizing existing tests, establishing new testing procedures, and ensuring compliance with aerospace-specific customer specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a background in materials science, chemistry, or mechanical engineering, significant professional experience in testing adhesives and sealants, and comprehensive knowledge of material testing techniques and relevant testing software. Excellent German and English language skills are mandatory for global communication with customers and testing institutions.
