Key Industry Manager - Metal Working Fluids | Key Account Manager (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves acting as the central technical expert for Metal Working Fluids (MWF) within the Coatings division of BASF, operating under the Chemetall brand. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting international sales teams with specialized technical knowledge and product expertise, conducting technical training sessions on MWF, and actively managing projects in collaboration with country sales teams. The manager will develop best practices, perform competitive analyses, and formulate strategic business plans in coordination with technical, sales, and marketing departments. A key function is serving as the central point of contact for technology centers to drive innovation and identify opportunities for product and process development based on customer interactions and market trends. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or Engineering, possesses at least five years of experience in the MWF industry, and demonstrates strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills. Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement, alongside a willingness to travel internationally.
