Job Summary

This role involves acting as the central technical expert and strategic driver for Metal Working Fluids (MWF) within the Coatings division of BASF/Chemetall, a leading supplier of applied surface technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical expertise and product knowledge support to country sales teams, conducting specialized technical training, and actively managing strategic projects in collaboration with local sales. The manager will also be responsible for developing best practices, performing competitive analyses, and formulating business strategies and plans alongside technical, sales, and marketing departments. Key qualifications include a degree in Chemistry or Engineering, at least five years of experience in the MWF industry with deep product and application knowledge, strong project and conflict management skills, and fluent English communication abilities. This position requires a proactive, structured, and flexible individual capable of high-level stakeholder communication and frequent international business travel.
