Job Summary

The Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) is seeking several Policy Advisors to support the newly established Health Finance Commission Office in Bonn or Berlin. This critical role involves working at the intersection of politics, science, and administration to stabilize contribution rates for the Statutory Health Insurance (GKV). Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-depth analyses of economic and health-economic questions related to GKV revenues and expenditures, preparing concept papers, and generating decision-making documents for commission members. You will be responsible for coordinating technical exchanges with internal BMG departments and external experts, analyzing and interpreting complex GKV data sets, and managing the preparation and documentation of commission meetings. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Economics or a related field, coupled with extensive professional experience and deep knowledge of GKV financing structures and quantitative analysis. This position is temporary until March 2027 and offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
