Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the digital future capability of Germany's defense sector as a primary digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The IT Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site support to users in the Munich area, focusing on troubleshooting, new installations, and refreshing IT and telecommunications end devices and systems. Day-to-day tasks include hardware installation, commissioning, upgrades, and maintenance, alongside executing IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) orders. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant technical qualification (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Specialist), at least three years of professional experience in on-site IT/TK support, and familiarity with ticket systems and ITIL processes. Strong organizational skills, self-reliance, and excellent communication abilities are crucial, as is the willingness to participate in cyclical on-call duties, contributing directly to the security and operational readiness of Germany.
