Job Summary

As an Engineer, PLCM Material Flow Management, you will be instrumental in orchestrating the seamless shipment of prototype wafer deliveries to GlobalFoundries' customers. Your daily responsibilities will involve taking ownership of material shipments, actively participating in wafer start planning to ensure sufficient supply, and closely monitoring prototype lot progress to maintain schedules. You'll be the primary point of contact for internal customer representatives, communicating status updates, changes, and shipment details, while also negotiating additional customer demands. This role requires a keen eye for identifying and addressing problems, balancing customer priorities with commercial interests, and fostering effective communication across various internal teams. You will also be tasked with organizing and improving shipment procedures, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction in a high-complexity, high-diversity environment.
