This role involves developing and operating a university-wide Energy Data Management System (EDMS) to support energy management initiatives at RWTH Aachen, aiming for climate neutrality. The specialist will integrate energy meters, configure gateways, operate virtual machines and cloud services, and manage databases. Key responsibilities include backend development, API integration, and creating automated reports and dashboards for stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in applied computer science or engineering, with experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and virtual machine administration.
