Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive electrical installation, maintenance, and automation tasks within a research institute focused on metallurgical process technology and metal recycling. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for setting up, wiring, and commissioning control cabinets, performing electrical work on laboratory furnaces and experimental systems, and ensuring the functionality of motors, sensors, and ventilation systems. A key aspect of the role is the conceptualization, construction, and modification of electrical systems and prototypes in collaboration with scientific staff. The position also includes automating processes using intelligent controls, acquiring measurement data, and creating/adapting circuit diagrams and process control programming. Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electronics Technician, or similar, or Process Engineering with electrical specialist qualification
