Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the daily operations and deployment of water meter system technicians, ensuring efficient service delivery for the Berliner Wasserbetriebe, Germany's largest water and wastewater company. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching technicians for all water meter system-related tasks, providing expert guidance, and acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external customer inquiries and issues. Key responsibilities also include preparing quotes, managing invoicing, processing billing disputes, and handling customer complaints. Additionally, the role requires strict adherence to technical, legal, and labor law regulations pertinent to water meter system operations, ensuring compliance with UVV, contract law, and calibration law. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to Berlin's vital infrastructure within a stable and reputable organization.
Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician in Environmental Protection Technology with a focus on Water Supply and Disposal, OR Technician in Heating, Ventilation, and Sanitary Technology with strong knowledge in Fluid Mechanics, Control, and Regulation Technology. DVGW Certificates required: Securing Drinking Water Installation (DIN EN 1717, DIN 1988-100), Operation of Water Meter Systems (DIN 1988-200, DIN 4064 T1-5, DVGW W406, Measuring Instrument Directive), Technical Rules for Drinking Water Installation (DIN 18012, EIN EN 806 T 1-5 and W 400). Knowledge of Calibration Law and AVBWasserV fundamentals.
